Meet The Instructors

Denise Smith, Owner / Instructor 

Denise graduated in 1994 from Northeastern State University with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education, Learning Disabilities and Elementary Education. After raising her two daughters, followed by 12 years of teaching at Tulsa Public Schools, she trained with and received her certification from the Studio one STOTT PILATES® Certification Center in Springfield, MO (now BodySmith Fitness and Pilates Studio). 

Denise has over 13 years of experience teaching Pilates. Since certifying with STOTT PILATES®, she has furthered her education with STOTT for the Level 2 certification, which includes Injuries and Special Populations, advanced Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs and Barrels. She is also trained in the Smart Movement® method including: Core Reform and Core Suspend as well as trained in Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) as well as Juvo Board.

Audra Ege, Owner / Instructor 


Audra graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2004 with a BA in Journalism and Broadcasting and worked for several years as a Marketing Manager. She found her passion in Pilates through her sister who also is a Pilates Instructor. She completed her certification with Studio One STOTT PILATES® Certification Center in Springfield, MO and has over 13 years of experience teaching. Audra is fully certified through STOTT PILATES® Levels 1 and 2 including Injuries and Special Populations, and advanced work on all Pilates' equipment. 

Audra is also trained in Smart Movement® including Core Barre, Core Suspend, Core Reform and Active Isolated Stretching. She is also certified in Neurokinetic Therapy levels 1 and 2 and also became one of the first Juvo Board instructors. 

Amy Jones, Instructor

Amy has been a Tulsan for most of her life. She graduated from NSU-BA in 2006 with a degree in Fiance. After 10 years in the fiance world, she sought out for a challenge and found Pilates. In July 2012 she jumped ship and went straight into training and received her STOTT PILATES®  certification in December of 2012 and has since worked for Bodies By Pilates. 

Amy received her Level 2 certificate from STOTT in January 2017. She is also trained in the Smart Movement® method in Active Isolated Stretching and Core Reform, as well as Juvo Board.
